1 1/2 lbs beef 1 lg can tomatoes 3 stalks celery, chopped 1/2 cabbage, cut up 1/2 c rice 1 soup bone 1 lg onion 6 or 8 carrots, sliced 5 potatoes, cut up
1/2 t celery seed 1 t sugar salt and pepper to taste Cover beef bone with water and simmer about 1 1/2 hours or until done. Remove bone and add vegetables in order given. Cook until vegetables are done. |
