3 T flour 1/4 c butter 4 c milk 2 c home-canned tomatoes 1 t sugar 1 t salt 1/8 t pepper 1 t chopped parsley Blend flour and melted butter to smooth paste. Scald the milk and
add carefully, stirring together. Simmer tomatoes about 10 minutes, add sugar and strain into the milk in a double boiler, Turn heat low and keep warm for about 10 minutes. Season, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
