2 T lard 1 medium sized red cabbage (4 c shredded) 2 medium sized apples, chopped 1 c water 3 T vinegar 2 T flour 3 T sugar salt & pepper to taste Melt lard, add cabbages,
apples and water and cook until tender. Add blended flour and vinegar, sugar and seasoning and cook a few minutes longer. |
