4 potatoes, grated on medium-fine 1/2 cups milk 1 med onion, finely chopped 1 large egg, beaten 6 Tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt ground pepper oil for frying Grate potatoes into milk.
Drain, add to chopped onion with egg, flour, salt and pepper. Drop batter into hot fat, using 2 tablespoons oil for each batch of pancakes. Turn when brown on one side, cook until brown on other side. Serve with
cottage cheese, apple sauce, or optionally sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over it. Option: With Apple. Use only 1 small onion, add 1 chopped peeled apple; |
