1 egg 1 c flour 5 c milk 1 large lump butter 2 t chopped parsley 2 hard-boiled egg yolks 2 1/2 c popcorn dash of cayenne pepper Beat the egg, sift the flour, and blend
together, chopping lightly with a spatula until batter flakes into Rivvels or lumps. Bring milk to a boil, add butter, and simmer. Drop Rivvels into the soup a few at a time, stirring until they are cooked - about 10
minutes. Add parsley and grated egg yolks. Divide the popcorn into four large bowls, pour soup on top sprinkle with pepper (and salt if needed), serve at once. Men like this for a snack after late parties. The say that
