3 qts cider
1 t whole cloves (heads removed)
1 whole nutmeg
1 stick cinnamon
1/2 c sugar

Put all ingredients in enameled pot and simmer for five minutes. Strain and serve very hot in warmed noggins (goblets). Serves 20.
