1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 c bread or cracker crumbs 1/2 c whole milk 1 onion, chopped very finely salt & pepper 1 egg, slightly beaten Soak half the bread crumbs in milk then mix all
the ingredients and shape into round fat patties. Coat them with the remaining crumbs and fry in hot beef dripping or butter till browned. Then make gravy out of the pan drippings. |
