2 c cooked meat cubes 1 c diced celery 1 green pepper, chopped 1 can tomato soup 1 t salt 1/8 t pepper 1/2 c grated cheese 3 c cooked noodles 1 c beef broth Arrange beef
and vegetables in casserole in alternate layers with noodles and soups. Top with noodles and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6. Sauce: Melt fat in heavy sauce pan or in top
of double boiler. Add flour and seasoning and stir until well blended. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until a smooth paste is formed. To shorten cooking time, milk may be heated separately. |
